Recognized as a trailblazer in New Mexico's influential 40-Under Forty cohort in 2012, Krista further honed her skills through the Strategic Leadership program at Pennsylvania State University in 2013.

Her leadership acumen is evident through her roles as President of NAWBO New Mexico, active member of the Del Norte High School AlumKnights, contributor to the City of Albuquerque Mayor's Volunteer Council, and Governance Council member of Coral Community Charter.
